Cocktail-concert
For the benefit of the National Institute of Invalids
On May 16, 2024, we hosted a cocktail-concert at the Cercle Suédois.
The proceeds from this exceptional evening were used to acquire medical equipment.
We had the pleasure of welcoming many guests, some of whom came from other clubs, other districts, and even other countries.
Talented pianist Anne-Candide Le Roux delighted guests' ears as they enjoyed the warm ambience - and the entremets - of the Cercle Suédois.
Club President Franco Declercq and Vice-President Anne Corp reiterated our enduring commitment to the Institution Nationale des Invalides.
The evening was organized in support of this historic institution, founded by Louis XIV, which continues to represent excellence in rehabilitation for people suffering from motor and neurological disabilities and psychological injuries, and whose ongoing commitment deserves our admiration and support.
Chief Commissioner Vincent Honoré, Deputy Director of the INI, recalled the diversity of the Institution's missions and expressed his gratitude to our club for its investment.
In November 2023, we organized a conference on the 350-year history of the Institution Nationale des Invalides, hosted by Médecin Général Rémi Macarez, director of the institution.

The Cercle Suédois rue de rivoli: a remarkable landmark
Just a stone's throw from Place de la Concorde in the heart of Paris, the Cercle Suédois welcomes us for our meetings and events in its lounges with a breathtaking view of the Jardin des Tuileries.
Founded in 1891, the "Svenska Klubben i Paris" is the oldest Swedish Cercle abroad. Among its first members was Alfred Nobel, Stockholm-born chemist and founder of the eponymous prize.
