January 23, 2003 - By Yann Duchesne
Business specialist Yann Duchesne (Director of McKinsey in France and advisor to the CEOs of a number of major French and international companies for almost twenty years) proposes that we look at France as if it were a very large limited company, "France S.A.".
After a rapid diagnosis of the situation, he will stress the importance of ambition and vision, and present some of the major themes of reform that he considers essential. Finally, he will talk about the method, i.e. the implementation of these reforms that could make "France SA" a world reference.
A graduate of École Polytechnique, École des Mines and Institut d'Études Politiques, Yann Duchesne has been with McKinsey since 1982 (in the Paris, New York, Washington and Tokyo offices), and is now Director of McKinsey in France.
He is the author of the book "France S.A.", published by Editions du Seuil, 2002.
